The ring pirate is one of Space Mama's two cabin boys, whom Rayman must defeat at the end of Eraser Plains in Picture City.
He looks like a blue-headed extraterrestrial with a large nose and round lips, wearing a red cap and a large golden earring.
His main attack consists in throwing his earring at Rayman like a boomerang. He can also duck to dodge Rayman's fist.
Like bosses, he only suffers one damage per punch, regardless of any attack bonus caused by a Golden Fist, a charged fist or a punch when jumping.

Early concept

In earlier stages of the game's development, the ring pirate had a different appearance. The dark skin was eventually changed to blue, most likely due to racial stereotyping or to match that of the bomb pirate.
