In the original Rayman game, Mr Sax is first encountered in Allegro Presto. This way, it is possible to take away as much as all 12 of his life points, making the final battle much easier or even skipping it altogether.[1]
In Rayman Ultimate, the port of the original Rayman game for the Pocket PC, all bosses have reduced health, with only 5 HP instead of 12 for Mr Sax. This makes it possible to underflow his health during the chase, meaning up to 255 hits are required in the final battle.[2]
