Bouncing skulls are platforms from Rayman Legends and Rayman Adventures which make the heroes bounce forward on contact. If they perform a crush attack on them, they will bounce much further.
Description
Bouncing skulls have the appearance of a large skull with an exposed brain, which is used by the heroes to bounce forward.
Appearances
Rayman Legends
In Rayman Legends, bouncing skulls are primarily seen in Fiesta de los Muertos and the Land of the Livid Dead, where they replace the previously encountered eyebumpers from Rayman Origins. They can also be found in the levels from other worlds that have been invaded by the mariachis. In Grannies World Tour, they are carried by skeleton arms.
In the Wii U, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo Switch versions, Murfy can touch them to make them turn purple and give the player Lums on contact.
In early demo showcases of the game, eyebumpers had not yet been replaced with bouncing skulls.
