—In-game description, Rayman 3

Slobberpillars,[1] also known as Squabs,[2] are a variety of fat, green caterpillars which are encountered in several games of the Rayman series.

Slobberpillars are first encountered in Rayman 3, at the beginning of the Fairy Council, the very first level of the game. They serve as a trampoline; Rayman can jump on them and bounce upwards to reach a ledge. Another Slobberpillar is seen in the game's final cutscene; it breaks Rayman and Globox's fall when they land on it after falling from the Tower of the Leptys when they defeat Reflux. Slobberpillars are seen being used by Hoodlums as Rayman dummies in two Wanna Kick Rayman videos (#007 and #134 specifically).

In the Game Boy Advance version of Rayman Raving Rabbids, the Slobberpillar is an enemy encountered in the Forest world. Here, they can be defeated with two punches from Rayman's telescopic fist.

It is unknown if the Slobberpillars have any connection to the different species of butterfly encountered throughout the series, like the Popolopoïs and the Tribelles.
