Hi-Ho Moskito! is the eighth and last level of the Jibberish Jungle, the first world in Rayman Origins. It acts as a transition between the Jibberish Jungle and the Desert of Didgeridoos, in a similar way to the first part of Bongo Hills in the PC and its ports version of the original Rayman game. This level contains the first boss of this game, the Guardian of the Music World (also called Boss Bird), a gigantic yellow bird guarding the entrance to the the Desert of Didgeridoos which is defeated by shooting it with bombs multiple times. On an early sketch, this level was supposed to have Hunter Birds as enemies; however, the concept was scrapped. This level is the second one from the world that appears in the Back to Origins mode in Rayman Legends.
Original version
Right when Rayman enters, he encounters the Magician. This time, he only states one sentence when he jumps on his hat: "Lums for Electoons! Grab'em while you can! This means if the team collects a certain amount of Lums in a level, the player earns extra Electoons. Shortly after, Rayman climbs onto mosquito, and begins to fly high over the jungle and must deal with smaller flies and larger flies. A bit farther into the level, they enter a cave and must deal with Hunters shooting missiles and Lividstones with spiky protective hats. After a while of constantly fighting the enemies, they leave the cave and must then face homing missiles.
Right after that, the transition between worlds is finished, as they start flying into the new world, the Desert of Didgeridoos. Here, strange thin objects can be seen coming through the clouds below. Rayman must face flying bombs here, for an unplanned practice for the mosquito to inhale the bombs and use them as an attack. After that, they must fight the Guardian of the Music World, Boss Bird. To defeat it, the mosquito needs to inhale bombs and shoot them back at Boss Bird, one at a time. Once enough bombs explode on the boss, it becomes deflated and flies away. Rayman can now get off the mosquito as they reach the end of the room, go through a door, and break an Electoon cage to exit the level. Then the hero poses on a photoboard, while the Magician waits to see how many Lums the player collected in the level.

Back to Origins
In the Back to Origins version, there aren't many differences between the original version; except of the notable elements from Rayman Legends replacing some of the elements from Origins.
Trivia
- It's possible in this level to reach the maximum score, which is 999 Lums. To reach it, the player will have to keep inhaling bombs and shooting them at the wall, not at the Guardian of the Music World. Each bomb earns 2 Lums, so it will take quite a while before the player will reach that number. This is the only level in Origins that is possible to reach the maximum number.
