The Desert of Dijiridoos, later revisited as the Grumbling Grottos, is the second world in Rayman Origins. This world is composed mainly on music and musical instruments. It closely resembles Band Land, a location which has not been seen since the original Rayman game.

Desert of Dijiridoos
This world was a peaceful desert place, with plenty of musical elements. But now, it's invaded by Darktoons, bad birds, spiky snakes, and the mysterious flying creatures, also known as the locusts. This world is the home of the Music Nymph called Holly Luya. But like Betilla was in Jibberish Jungle, she has been captured by a Darktoon. When she is saved, she gives the heroes the second permanent power, the ability to glide. Once the team continues on throughout the imagination world, they will continue on to the next world, Gourmand Land.

Grumbling Grottos
Later, after completion of the Ticklish Temples, the players will enter Grumbling Grottos, filled with mysterious caves near the desert. But unlike Desert of Dijiridoos, this world is more protected and hazardous. New hazards includes swarm of flies, where Rayman and his friends must use gongs to create sound waves which shield him from those swarms of black flying creatures which resemble locusts. The boss of this world is the Mocking Bird, a more dangerous version of the Guardian of the Music World.

Back to Origins
Desert of Dijiridoos, along with the other Origins worlds, make a return in Rayman Legends. In order to unlock it, the player will have to collect lucky tickets throughout Legends. After some of the levels from Jibberish Jungle are unlocked, the first level Best Original Score, will be unlocked, and the world's lock will break, therefore allowing the player to play the level. The levels from Desert of Dijiridoos and Grumbling Grottos fuse together into one world. Not every level from those two worlds appear here.
