Dashing Thru the Snow is the second level of the Gourmand Land, the third world in Rayman Origins. This level is similar to all of the other levels in the Frosty Delights area. This is the first level from this world and seventeenth overall that's included in the Back to Origins mode in Rayman Legends.
Original version
Area 1
Rayman and the team start out in a quiet area on icy platforms next to a moving heart bottle. Then they notice some bodies of Piranha infested red water. The bottom part of the platforms is in the water. If the players stay too long on a platform, it begins to sink down further into the dangerous water. Eventually they come across a new enemy, a fire breathing Baby Dragon Waiter on skates. The team can easily destroy them from behind to continue on to the exit.
-
The red water can be fatal to the team.
-
The players cannot bubblize enemies through jumping on top when they're shrunk.
Area 2
The heroes begin crossing this area by avoiding more Piranha infested water. The first Skull Coin of the level is found on top of a platform that will collapse if the players attempt to do a walljump. After that, the heroes can jump on a laid back creature that will give them a bubble to cross the body of water. They have to be careful in steering the bubble as spiky oranges are attached to the top. The first secret area can be found by making the bubble go to the top platform at the end of the area. Once the Electoons are saved, the heroes can move on to the exit.
-
The first Skull Coin of the level.
-
The bubble will assist getting the players across the area.
Secret area 1
For this secret area, the players have to jump on mosquitos to reach the cage. During the ride, they need to shoot blocks of ice and avoid blue spiky birds. Once they get to the area where the cage is, the players need to shoot the blocks of ice in order to destroy the sleeping Psychlops. When all are defeated, the players can get off their mosquitoes and break open the cage.
-
Blue spiky birds in the first secret area.
Area 3
The players have to cross the dangerous area while being shrunk; although a funnel nearby can make them grow back to normal size. The second Skull Coin of the level can be collected by quickly destroying blocks of ice while escaping from containers that will crush the players. The heroes can now use another funnel to shrink and propel them to the exit.
-
These umbrellas function like a platform.
-
Orange umbrellas will close and then open back up.
Area 4
In similarity to the second area, Rayman and his team need to use bubbles to cross the water, while avoiding spiky birds. The third Skull Coin of the level can be found in between two rotating spiky birds. The team can now get off of the bubbles and continue on. The fourth Skull Coin can be retrieved by performing walljumps to a higher platform. The fifth Skull Coin can be found by dropping down and gliding past the Baby Piranha infested water and avoiding green spiky birds. The team can catch a funnel to grow back to normal size then destroy two Baby Dragon Waiters to get to the exit.
-
Another bubble that's useful for getting across.
-
The fourth Skull Coin.
Area 5

Back to being shrunk, the players have to keep body slamming on small blocks of ice in order to go down towards the exit. Some blocks of ice contain frozen Lums. As the heroes continue downwards, they will eventually fall down and grab onto a Swingman. The second secret area is to the left, and the exit is to the right.
Secret area 2

First, the team has to advance to the end by bouncing onto the sleeping Psychlops. Then, they will grow back to normal size to bounce and finally kill the Psychlops to be able to break the Electoon cage open.
Area 6

The players can destroy the blocks of ice the Baby Dragon Waiters are skating on to make it easier to destroy them. The cage is able to be broken once that's completed. After that, the team poses on the photoboard as the Magician waits to see the total amount of Lums the team collected in the level.
