Mystical Munkeys is the second level of the Mystical Pique, the fifth world in Rayman Origins. During the level, the heroes will alternate between the strange cave like area and the snowy mountains. This is the first level from this world and thirty-third overall that's included in the Back to Origins mode in Rayman Legends.
Original version
Area 1
Rayman and his friends will need to use their running on walls power to progress. They must avoid the pits and the spikes. The first Skull Coin can be collected by gliding in between two Darktoons attached to a wall. The second Skull Coin can be found by running up on the wall that is located to the left of the exit.
Area 2
Now the team is at the snowy environment filled with icy platforms and chasms. Once the players move upwards, they will encounter an enemy that is familiar to Rayman; the stone man. The enemy has not been seen since the original Rayman game. He acts similar to how he did in the original game. He will throw lava rocks at the players. Once the stone man is defeated, the team can move on. The third Skull Coin is located at the left in the middle of two ropes. The first secret area is right underneath the third rope. The team can now continue up to the exit.
Secret Area 1
The players can defeat the Lividstones in two ways. One way can be done manually, or the blocks of ice can be broken to make the large platform collapse to crush the Lividstones. When all are defeated, the Electoon cage will be able to be broken.
Area 3
Back inside the cave, the meditating Fakirs will be needed to advance past the dangerous spikes. The fourth Skull Coin can be found hiding behind some kind of clothing. The heroes can move on, destroying Darktoons as they progress. The fifth Skull Coin is located between two biting Darktoons.
Area 4
Switching back into the snowy environment, the team will counter against lava rocks being thrown by the stone man. Moving up while avoiding the lava rocks will lead up to where the stone man can be defeated. After moving on and destroying another stone man, the players can continue up towards the exit.
Area 5

Once again into the cave, more Darktoons appear, as well as Darkroots. Using the wall run ability will come in handy to advance. After a while, the second secret area can by dropping down next to a small Darkroot. Once completed, the heroes can go to the nearby exit.
Secret Area 2
The loop-d-loop will have to be run on in order to reach the several stone men in the area. A couple of them are even standing on the walls. When all of them are destroyed, the cage can be broken open.
Area 6
In the snowy environment, two switches attached to a moveable platform will need to be taken advantage of to progress. The switches will have to be alternatively hit, as Darkroots appear on both sides. Once the platform stops at the top, the exit is found to the right.
Area 7
This time, the players remain in the same place, as they have to do the same process as they did in the last area, but with more difficulty. The sixth Skull Coin can be collected through hitting the platform higher than where the coin is and dropping down to the right where the coin is. Once the platform hits the top, the exit is to the right.
Area 8
All the players have to do is destroy the three stone men. Once completed, the Electoon cage can be broken to end the level. The team will pose on the photoboard as the Magician waits for the total amount of Lums that were collected in the level.
