Abyssal firefly krill are illuminous little creatures that appear in Rayman Origins, and the Back to Origins painting from Rayman Legends

Description

They are friendly little creatures that appear in dark underwater areas from the Sea of Serendipity and the Angsty Abyss. If the heroes swim through a shoal of abyssal firefly krill, some of them will follow the heroes, lighting up the area around them for a short time and keeping them safe from tentacle claws; as the krill follow the heroes, the light from them will slowly dim until it eventually runs out, similar to a gong from the Desert of Dijiridoos.
