A Skull Coin

Skull Coins, also known as Death Medallions, are items present in Rayman Origins, Rayman Jungle Run, Rayman Legends, Rayman Fiesta Run, Rayman Adventures and Rayman Mini.

In Rayman Origins

In Rayman Origins, Skull Coins are usually placed at dangerous or well-hidden locations. Unlike collecting normal Lums, the player will have to wait a few seconds without taking damage before keeping the Lums from the Skull Coin. If they are collected while in a bubble, however, the Lums will be added immediately.

The players find out information about the Skull Coins from the Magician. They are worth 25 Lums, but on the Nintendo 3DS version they are worth 40 Lums.

In Rayman Jungle Run and Rayman Fiesta Run

In Rayman Jungle Run and Rayman Fiesta Run, Skull Coins are worth 20 Lums and work the same as in Rayman Origins, but they are however much easier to find.

In Rayman Legends

In Rayman Legends, there are much less Skull Coins to find. In the Back to Origins levels, they are mostly replaced by Teensies in cages.

In Rayman Adventures

In Rayman Adventures, Skull Coins are instantly added to the player's Lum count upon being collected. They come in both a regular-sized and a much larger version, but they all yield 25 Lums in this game.

In Rayman Mini

In Rayman Mini, tiny Skull Coins that work the same as in Rayman Adventures can be found. They are worth 20 Lums in this game.
